it is crazy to think that we are just two weeks away from christmas. how in the world did that creep up on us so quickly? i still have so many things on my christmas bucket list that i want to check off!
all the fun things like. . . . a bajillion christmas treats to bake. gingerbread houses to build. christmas jammies to be worn. christmas lights to be seen. holiday movie marathons to be held. reindeer games to be played.
plus there are the essential things that must be done still . . . a handful of christmas gifts to still grab. christmas family dinner menu to prep & shop for. and corners of the house to still be decorated.
so much to do. so little time to do it all.
thankfully. praise be to. all the kudos go to walmart for making my essential to do list a piece of christmas cake. i mean truly gang. talk about a one-stop-shop. if there ever was one. it is walmart.
as I was creating my bucket list/ to do list and checking it twice I started to feel a bit overwhelmed. again. hellooooo two weeks till christmas. so i dashed over to walmart to start collecting the goods.
what a brilliant move.
i quickly filled my cart with all the things. literally. my gifts. my groceries. my baking supplies. my christmas decor. my wine. and a few pairs of cute christmas jammies that i just couldn’t pass up. all at really really really fantastic prices. like look at this white puffer jacket. may or may not have done some shopping for myself. whoops. but it was under 30 smacks. how could I not take it home with me?!
any who. in no time flat I had successfully crossed off all my to-do items. leaving me with a extra pennies in my wallet. extra goodies for all the baking. and extra time for all the memory making on my bucket list. I’ll say it again . . . praise be for walmart.
and check this out gang. these chocolate covered oreos. talk about a mom hack. we love making chocolate covered oreos & decorating them for christmas gifts for our neighbors. but they always turn out eh, less than beautiful. the dunking in the the chocolate never ever goes as planned.
when i found these at walmart i was like ohhhhh yes this will make our oreos so much prettier. way less frustrating for the rascals {and me} to decorate this year. snagged a few boxes & we had a blast in the kitchen.
skipped the dunking. just spread a bit of chocolate on & sprinkle away. every kiddos dream. every mama’s best idea. highly encourage you to do this. thank me later!
also. check out this centerpiece i created. these gold lanterns are so beautiful. I just love the simplicity of the gold, the candles, and the fresh evergreen. allllll walmart.
bottom line is this gang. if you are needing a one stop shop for all the holiday things. do yourself a huge favor and head to walmart or walmart.com. they have literally everything you need to make this season super memorable, relieve a bit of the stress, and help you enjoy every moment.
walmart . . . this busy mama thanks you big time.
