banana bread feels like home. right? its pure comfort in a bite. it is reminiscent of your mom. or your grandma. its just sorta nostalgic. in every delicious way possible.
i’ll be honest. i have yet to taste a bee-nanner bread that i have not loved. its just so dang good. the sweetness. the buttery flavor. the vanilla. mmmm. but this banana bread may take the cake. probably because it tastes a bit like cake. its goooooooood.
doctored up the traditional banana bread to make it extra extra extra moist. and bursting with even more flavor. i think you will love it.
best dang banana bread:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups over ripe bananas. smashed.
2 boxes of vanilla instant pudding mix
2 sticks salted butter. melted & cooled
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
preheat your oven to 350 degrees. line two loaf pans with parchment paper. and set aside.
in a large mixing bowl. combine the dry ingredients. in a separate bowl. combine the bananas. butter. eggs. and vanilla.
slowly combine the two mixtures. stirring to completely mix. then pour the batter into the two loaf pans.
bake for about 45 minutes to an hour. checking occasionally. once the bread has baked all the way through. remove from oven. allow bread to cool completely before removing from pan.
after the bread has cooled mostly. slice & enjoy.
and if you really want to be indulgent. spread a bit of salted butter on a warm slice. holy heaven!
