in this house. we are big fans of apples with peanut butter. we eat it almost daily. its just so dang yummy. i love it. the rascals love it. we alllll love it.
one of the easiest & cutest little snacks that we like to do is make apple bagels. it is a fun way to get the kiddos in the kitchen helping out with mama. again. the goal is always connection. and in this house. food connects us.
they will sit on the counter with me & assemble these little snacks. then we enjoy every last bite together. super sweet. in more ways than one.

you can top these babies with anything you want. we usually do chocolate chips. or coconut flakes. or cinnamon. but the options are endless. raisins. chopped peanuts. sprinkles.
and here is a funny mom hack. to make your circle cut outs perfect . . . use a children’s medicine measuring cup. it is the perfect little size to get your “bagel” center cut out. it works like a champ. see below.
so have some fun making your own little apple bagels. get the kiddos in there with you. it will become a fun little moment that will certainly become a weekly occurrence. cultivating a kiddos love for cooking & time together. its a win win.
